"I now have a much better understanding of how social media enables businesses and charities to engage with their target audience."

Heather Paton works as a Programme Coordinator for Link UP London’s ReLaunch Programme who funded her place on our Foundation in Social Media Marketing course. She lives in Clapham with her family.

“I am the Programme Coordinator for Link UP London’s ReLaunch Programme, which provides workshops to support women to return to the workforce following a career break. I was a qualified lawyer for many years, but after having my children I wanted to work in a different field.

I joined the Foundation in Social Media Marketing course because I wanted to understand how to develop a good strategy to raise the profile of the ReLaunch Programme on different online platforms and to develop an online platform for the women who have participated in the ReLaunch Programme.

Thanks to the course I now have a much better understanding of how social media enables businesses and charities to engage with their target audience as a sociable brand. I now feel more confident to create and curate quality content which is engaging and relevant to the women who have participated in the ReLaunch Programme.

The webinars/live lessons were brilliant! The Digital Mums social media experts were knowledgeable, clearly providing lots of useful content and insights about effective social media marketing strategies. The practical case study exercises provided good opportunities to exchange ideas with the other students.

I would definitely recommend the Foundation in Social Media Marketing course – it provides you with valuable digital skills and confidence to develop an effective social media marketing strategy, if you are a woman returning to work after a career break, you would like to change careers or start your own business. (I have already recommended the course to several other Mums and will continue to do so)."

Our next cohort for the Foundation in Social Media Marketing will be commencing on the 18th May 2020. Click to enrol here or try before you buy here or sign up for more info here.
