No, the matching of Trainees is done by the Digital Mums team. When matching we take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, previous experience, interests and location.
If you 100% want to choose the Digital Mum you work with, then we’re more than happy to introduce you some of our ever-increasing number of fully-qualified graduates.
No. Because it is a training programme, students follow a set structure and don't get on your channels until they do vital up-front strategy work. During this time they'll produce a host of vital marketing outputs for your business to ensure the success of your campaign, including a social media campaign strategy, user personas for your key audiences, an influencer map, a content strategy and more. Then the last two months are focused on running the campaign and hitting the KPI targets set.
If you need somebody to start immediately, you can send us a job spec and we can push it out to our community of freelancers.
£599 (ex. VAT). This is a simple administration fee that pays for the delivery of the Programme. It’s a one-off payment you make before confirming your place.
We also require you to commit to a £100 advertising spend, as paid media is a vital part of a successful social media strategy. This is not a fee you pay to us, but rather one purely for your own organisation’s benefit. You won’t have to make this payment until four months into the Programme - we just ask for the commitment to spending it.
Yes, many of our Programme Partners go on to hire their Digital Mum beyond the six months of the Programme (although there is no obligation to do so). If you do decide to do this, we ask for a one-off £300 (ex. VAT) as a finder’s fee.
All of our Trainees have marketing, communications, PR or journalism backgrounds.
You'll have to commit roughly one hour every week for the duration of the Programme, including a weekly catch-up with your Trainee. This can sometimes be less and sometimes a bit more. Certain weeks you will have deadlines to sign-off on things for your Trainee.
You'll need to fill our our Assessment Form to ensure you're organisation is a good fit for the Programme - get in touch and we'll send it over.
